Food Safety Team Uncovers Large Cache of Adulterated Paneer in Raebareli Factory Raid
A food safety team in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, raided a paneer factory in Ghosi Ka Purwa and seized a large quantity of adulterated paneer. Officials destroyed the stock, collected samples for testing, and began questioning the operators as part of ongoing legal action to curb food adulteration.
According to authorities, the operation was launched after concerns emerged about the quality of paneer being supplied from the facility. During the raid, inspectors discovered a large quantity of counterfeit and substandard paneer stored on the premises. Officials confiscated samples for laboratory testing and ordered the destruction of the entire stock deemed adulterated.
